The Low Frequency Electromagnetic Wave Detector (LFEW) is a search-coil type three-component electromagnetic wave detector, with a frequency range from 8 Hz to 10 kHz in three frequency segments (8-100 Hz, 100-1000 Hz, and 1-10 kHz). It is designed to measure low frequency magnetic waves in different regions of the magnetosphere.
This data set contains Double Star 2 LFEW prime parameters at spin resolution including the instrument status and the components of the wave spectral density parallel and perpendicular to the magnetic field in three frequency bands each.
