Cassini-Huygens is an ESA-NASA joint mission dedicated to the study of Saturn and Titan. It arrived at Saturn in July 2004 after four planetary fly-bys (Venus twice, Earth and Jupiter). The mission timelife has been extended several times. The initial end of mission was planned to happen in 2008. The Equinox Mission extended the mission to 2010, and the Solstice Mission extends it up to 2017. The Cassini spacecraft is embarking 18 experiments designed to observe Saturn, its rings, its magnetosphere, its moons and more especially Titan.
