Description

ASKANIA spectroheliograph: It was installed in Kyoto University and started solar full-disk observation in Ca II K line and whitelight in 1926. It was moved to Kwasan Observatory in 1929 and continued to the observation. Moreover, it was moved to Ikoma Observatory in 1941 and the observation was ended in 1969. The spectroheliogram data had been recorded on photographic plates.
