Description

The Serpong observatory (6.36S, 106.65E, 50m MSL) is located near the equator in the south-west suburbs of Jakarta, Indonesia. This site has been established in the PUSPIPTEK (Indonesian National Center for Research, Science and Technology) area. In this site, boundary layer radar (BLR) and meteor wind (MW) radar etc. have been installed, which measure the equatorial atmosphere including the troposphere, upper mesosphere, and lower thermosphere.
