Caveats
The flag for bad data is 0.0. The Geographic latitude for each spacecraft is assumed to be 0°. The spacecraft are kept within a few tenths of a degree of 0° latitude. However, there can be times when the spacecraft can reach several degrees inclination. The user is recommended to check with one of the online resources that calculate satellite inclination and longitude from two line orbital elements.

GOES West Geographic Longitude
Description

The GOES Geographic Longitude in degrees is an array of 31 numbers. One for each day of the month. Flag values are 0.0 for no data or for days of the month that do not exist such as February 31st. The latitude is assumed to be zero and the radius is geosynchronous orbit.
