The Thermal Electron Energy Distribution (TED)
experiment measures 0-5 eV electrons in 32 energy steps. The experiment
outputs numbers which are the second harmonic of electron flux incident
on the TED probe, from these the energy distribution in units of
1/(eV cm**3) may be computed. Data are available from DARTS as plots
and digital binary data in the Akebono database. See
http://www.darts.isas.jaxa.jp/akbn/readme/readme.ted.txt and
Abe et al, J. Geomag. Geoelect., 42, 537-554, 1990, for further
details.
