The IBEX-Hi instrument measures ENA's in six energy
bands within the 0.38-6.0 keV range. The instrument is a single-pixel
imager with a 6.5 x 6.5 deg field of view that images a 6.5 x 360 swath
of the sky each 15-sec spacecraft spin about the sun-pointing spin axis.
The six energy windows have FWHM ranges of 0.38-0.59, 0.52-0.95,
0.84-1.55, 1.36-2.50, 1.99-3.75, 3.13-6.00 keV. These are referred to as
bands 1 to 6, respectively, in data products. In normal operation,
2 successive spins are devoted to each energy window every 12 spin (~3 min)
periods.
