The Active Spacecraft Potential Control (ASPOC) generates beams of indium ions to limit positive spacecraft potentials to within +4V in order to improve the measurements obtained by the follwinf MMS instruments: FPI, HPCA, ADP, and SDP. There are two ASPOC units per MMS spacecraft. The ASPOC Lead Co-I for Phase E is Rumi Nakamura (IFW, OAF).
